How a Post-Round Lunch Turned Into an Idea

It started like so many post-round conversations do—feet up, drinks in hand, replaying the highlights of the day while conveniently forgetting the snap hooks and missed three-footers. Somewhere between debating which PNW course has the best closing hole and talking about upcoming golf trips, a simple question came up:

“Why isn’t there a go-to spot for Pacific Northwest golf?”

Not just a random Instagram page posting stock photos, but a real community. A place that actually feels like the Northwest—where golfers can find information on courses, hidden gems, offseason tips, local deals, and everything that makes playing in this region special.

We searched for it. It didn’t exist. So we decided to create it ourselves.

Why Northwest Links?

Golf in the Pacific Northwest is its own breed. It’s waking up before sunrise to squeeze in 18 before the rain rolls in. It’s playing year-round because we don’t shut it down when the weather gets tough. It’s teeing off under towering evergreens, alongside rugged coastlines, or with the backdrop of snow-capped mountains.

There’s something different about golf here. It’s raw, it’s beautiful, and it has a character all its own. But there wasn’t a brand that truly captured that.

That’s what we want Northwest Links to be.

We’re not here to be another faceless golf page. We’re here to celebrate everything about PNW golf—the courses, the culture, the community, you. Whether you’re a die-hard golfer who knows every track in the region or just getting into the game, we want Northwest Links to be your go-to spot for all things golf in the Northwest.
