Seattle-Area Public Golf Course Unlimited Membership Guide (2025 Edition)

Updated: 21 hours ago

There’s no better feeling than being able to play as much golf as you want—especially when you live in a place as scenic (and sneaky golf-packed) as the Seattle area. We did the legwork and researched every public course within about 1.5 hours of the city to find all the spots that offer unlimited play memberships.

Some of these are full-season annual passes, others are more flexible. Either way, if you’re looking to lock in a local track for this year, this guide will point you to the best options in the region—whether you’re chasing value, an elite experience, or just want to keep it under $200/month.

Let’s get into it.

Our Favorites

After digging through every public course within a 1.5-hour drive of Seattle, we pulled together the best unlimited membership options out there. These aren’t private clubs with multi-thousand-dollar initiation fees—we’re talking public tracks offering unrestricted access for golfers who want to play more and pay less per round.

Here are our top picks in three categories:

Best Golf Experience

These courses aren’t just about volume—they’re about quality. If you're looking for a membership that brings both top-tier golf and a premium experience, these are the ones.

1. Chambers Bay Golf Course (University Place, WA)

$5,999/year (~$500/month)

A U.S. Open venue that offers a true championship test. The Lone Fir membership includes unlimited rounds and practice facility use through the end of 2025, plus some sweet Lone Fir-exclusive gifts. A luxury pick, but a bucket list course you’ll never get tired of.

2. Port Ludlow Golf Course (Port Ludlow, WA)

$1,800–$4,020/year (~$150–$335/month) based on age

Unlimited golf with priority tee times, exclusive member events, discounts, and more. It's a bit of a trek from Seattle, but the course is scenic and serene—and it’s well-worth it for those who live close by or willing to frequent the drive.

3. Washington National Golf Club (Auburn, WA)

$3,960/year (~$330/month)

Unlimited play Monday–Friday and after noon on weekends/holidays, cart included. You also get 50 buckets of range balls at a high-level practice facility, 10-day tee time booking, and discounts at all Oki Golf public courses. Washington National is the home course of the University of Washington Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams, adding an extra layer of prestige. A great fit for serious weekday golfers.

Best Value

If you’re the kind of golfer who’s out there weekly (or more), these options will pay for themselves fast. High return on investment without sacrificing course quality.

Unlimited play on both the Olympic and Cascade courses, which are consistently rated among the best public layouts in the state. If you’re close by, this is an amazing value.

2. Avalon Golf Links (Burlington, WA)

$2,499/year (~$208/month)

Unlimited daily play on 27 holes of well-maintained turf. One of the best value memberships north of the city—especially if variety matters to you.

3. White Horse Golf Club (Kingston, WA)

$3,048/year (~$254/month)

A stellar layout with a strong membership program that includes weekday and twilight options if you want to save even more. If you live west of the Sound (or don’t mind the ferry), this is a fantastic home course.

Best Under $200/Month

You don’t need to spend a fortune to play unlimited golf. These picks all come in under $200/month and still offer full-season access.
